| Our History Fletcher Lawn, Garden, & Hardware was started by the Johnston family in 1964. Because shipments by rail were common in those days, we chose a spot close to railroad tracks. We began as a small supply store serving the needs of local farmers and others through out Western North Carolina. Since then, we have continued to expand our products, services, personnel, and facility. Today, we're still run by the Johnston Family and the train still comes by every day, just a little faster. Our Philosophy It all goes back to being a good friend and neighbor. Our goal is to continue to build long-term relationships with our customers and the community. Fulfilling your needs, offering advice on lots of subjects, and delivering quality products in a timely manner is what we're all about.
